99 BEERS This is one of the weirdest video slots that I have ever played. It is still around and has some popularity, like beer would ever not be popular. But as for the machine, the bonus is a blast, albeit short and sudsy. The three cartoon patrons need to appear on the screen and you get the right configuration and you will go to the bar. The bartender will start serving up some cold ones to the character you choose from the seated patrons, the sound effects are a blast and the cartoon is fun. The beers swish down the bar and you keep hoping the patron is still swift enough to pick them up and down them, that will equal more credits. Finally, after one too many, the beer will sail right past the patron and off the end of the bar, you have to check out the comments from each patron especially the little old lady. The base game is the most puzzling game ever. I finally gave up trying to figure out the line patterns needed to win, they are so unorthodox that I simply play this machine hoping for the bonus and just looking at the credit meter at the end of each spin to see if I won anything. There are 4 rows of figures and I think they need to be alligned within an underground tunnel to be winners. whatever, there is also a few bonus type things where beer bootles randomly pop for credits and a dartboard bonus.
