Arlo Wins and GTA3:SA.
Wednesday, August 31 02:45:18 PM 2005
Before I get to Arlo, I have to confess ... I broke down and bought Grand Theft Auto 3: San Andreas. (
Fell
would be proud!) I played it earlier, and it has become an insta-addiction. This game is incredible!
The nerd at the game store told me that Tiger Woods 2006 and X-Men Legends 2 both comes out in late September. When will I have time for poker?

Speaking of poker...

^Rick has been very aggro. I was going to check this flop, but a check-raise on the flop might cost big bets on the more expensive streets. I plan on leading out on the flop, wait a few seconds and check the turn. Hopefully, he'll sense weakness and bet out.
rickrambus42: raises $1 to $2
Aequitas58: calls $1
*** TURN *** [Js 4s 6h] [Td]
Aequitas58: checks
rickrambus42: bets $2
Aequitas58: raises $2 to $4
rickrambus42: calls $2
*** RIVER *** [Js 4s 6h Td] [7d]
Aequitas58: bets $2
rickrambus42: calls $2
^The turn and river went as expected. My first nice Arlo win over 5BB's. :)
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Aequitas58: shows [6d 4c] (two pair, Sixes and Fours)

Aequitas58 collected $17.75 from pot

I'm in a UB MTT right now. UB has a gggreat MTT structure. This is by far, the best place to play MTTs outside of FTP or Stars. My gripe is that the software (although better than the Prima or Crypto) isn't "comfortable." When I play at Stars, everything is comfortable. The card size, chip counts, etc... UB is clunky. The software is fast and smooth, but the hole cards are huge, the board cards are small, and the fact that they use a blue $10 chip is messing me up.
Oh well ... looking at my already-accumulated rakeback stats ... I'll learn to like the software. :)
Until next time,
