Ditty Runs Arizona
Yesterday the conference was open to the public. I got my demo in a state good enough to show, but I didnt get anything I wanted done. It really doesnt matter because my booth is in a bad location. Only one customer stopped by last night, and that was because they were at our marketing booth and someone brought them over.
A good thing about these conferences is the free shit you get. So far I got 7 polo shirts, a hat, 2 pens, stress relief squeeze balls, and software cds. Today that list should double. I have to demo for seven hours today, not fun.
I think its time to address some comments.
I have no idea what your talking about not to many people do. Keep reading and you will pick up on things.
You spell words wrongs and use the wrong words yes, yes I do.
You never mention me in your blog you have to earn shout outs here at ditty runs the city, but they do come occasionally.
Leave more comments damn it.bottom of each post.

I have been going to the gym, just not keeping up with the diet.
Poker
Went to the casino last night for a three hour session. I dropped 100 at the 4/8 hold em table. There were some loose aggressive players at my table. Lots of pre-flop raising with garbage. I felt my only option was to tighten up. I decided to tighten up and if I hit the flop hard enough, ride it to the end, because the betting would be capped each round. I wasnt getting cards, and when I did I wasnt hitting flops. I dragged in some pots, but they were all small.
I now know why people cringe when they see a player in there young twenties sit down at the table. These three guys my age sat down at the table. I thought they were funny, but the other people at my table didnt appreciate them. All three of them are WPT wanna bes (lime myself), straight to the table after finishing there first read of sklansky.
They sit there and raise out of position with garbage, and complain when they get called by people with garbage. They mumble under their breath that the player sucks or they proclaim why they made the play they did. What they dont realize is this is low limit hold em. This people are here for fun. They dont know that calling a raise with king 7 offsuit is a horrible play, nor do they care. They dont realize that just because theres over cards on the board there pocket pair are no good. But they dont like some prick with a backwards hat telling them that they are wrong in how they play. Phil Gordon coined the term dont tap the aquarium. What he is saying here is why tell a fish (bad player) that he is playing bad. You want him to play bad. And if he rivers you out, well thats poker. However, you make money off the ten other times your superiour hands hold up against their hands. If you dont want someone playing king 7 offsuit, or you want more respect from your under the gun raises, then move over to the 20/40 table.
The craziest thing I saw is when one of the young players called for a set up. He was at the table for about 5 minutes when he asked for one. I had no idea what a set up is, but the dealer didnt like that he asked for one, and the rest of the players at the table looked a little annoyed. He was sitting to my left, so I asked him why he wanted a set up, cause you just want to say the term? I asked. He did not like my comment, but he ignored it and argued with the dealer until he pressed the set up button. A floor person brought over new decks of cards and took the ones we are using. I told the player that I was on a three hour session and wanted to get in as many hands as I could. This whole process took about 10 minutes. He eventually realized that what he was doing is wrong, and he apologized to the table. This incident changed the table atmosphere to a friendly one, to a silent one.
Anyways, shitty session, but it was still fun. Felt good playing in a casino again. Saturday morning I plan on playing in a cheap tournament in Turning Stone. If anyone wants to go shoot me an email
