Good evening...
Today, both myself and K had winning days on the horses, which means we are both in a good old mood too!
I have to say that I thought K was a little bit fortunate, in that his horse was third with two fences to go, and both horses conveniently fell over, evidently with no lasting damage to themselves or their jockeys, which absolutley gifted the race to Bacyan, although the odds were shocking at 11/10!!
For me, I gambled 17 points and ended the day with 26 points, which is a very healthy profit. Let me explain about points. My system allows me to rate the strength of each bet by how many points I allocate. For examaple, a 5 point bet would mean that I am as confident as I can be about the horses prospects. Conversely, a 1 point bet would suggest that it is a very speculative or risky bet. I bet at £50 a point, so I made a profit today of £450.
Obviously, for K it was a good day too...although really, it was a small oasis in a desert of torn up betting slips and shattered dreams....but at least it's not his money. For all the investors of xxxx Bank, particularly the branch K manages, they will see a small increase in their balances, so that's good news for them then. Everybody is happy.
Well tonorrow there is no racing in main land Britain, although there is some racing in Ireland. I have a go there now and again, but tomorrow looks very tricky, although, here's a little tip for you. Back Bennies Pride each way in the 2.10 at Leopardstown.
I don't usually talk with K on a Sunday, him being a part-time vicar and all, but I will give you a rundown of Mondays action on, strangely enough, Monday evening.
