Great hands? Not really. But a miraculous comeback for the win!

Last night we had a huge turnout - 13 guys. The first tournament had 13, the next 12, the last 6. All those hands of poker and I can't really think of any that I'd define as "great." Maybe I missed something that happened on another table?
On the other hand, there was my miraculous comeback. About 4 hands into the last tournament, I had a pair of sixes in my hand, club/spade. Max was already the chip leader and we were the only two still in after the flop. Flop came 3-4-7 with 2 clubs. Next card was another club (high card) followed by the 5 of clubs on the river. Max bet 500 after the river. I had a straight and a 6-flush and was already pot committed and wasn't convinced that he had a club. So I called, which was a mistake as Max had a Queen-high flush (or something like that). It was a pretty bad call by me, but Max left me with 90 chips (we started with 1000).
Next hand three guys bet 100 in front of me. I call for 90 with K-7 and hit a King, quadrupling up. Two hands later I double up again (beat Jack with a pair of Aces and a better kicker) and I'm actually in this thing, even though I'm still in 5th overall. Many many hands later I'm in second place, heads-up with Max for the second straight tournament. But he's at least a 4-1 favorite, probably much more. With the egging on of Albert and Harry I played aggressive, doubled up a few times, stole a bunch of pots, eventually winning it all. Won it all, after being down to 90 chips. So yes, I moved myself up to #2 on the Power Poll for that one.
Anyway, great games last night, let's try and keep the turnout level high. Later.
