Ok, not really half way thereI actually made my eventual move to Florida a little longer. Sold the house, moved out, and moved in. Moving in with the parents for a 2 month layover is both good and bad. Saving money is good; going from having your own house to living in somebody elses is bad. Temporary only, moving to Florida the first week of August. So, I can concentrate on poker for awhile. Although every time I boot up my laptop, my parents look at me like I am a degenerate. My wife is now addicted to pokerin a previous post, I mentioned how she won me a TEC on UB. So on Saturday, celebrating my brothers birthday, an impromptu game broke out. Two tables, one with six and one with five. The big table could hold eight people so once we were down to eight people the tables would merge. Needless to say, I am getting no cards and my one hand I have, the river creates a higher straight...I call the all in bet, which at that I only had 150 chips left anyways. As I call, I say show me your 10 and of course they didwhich was ok, I dealt the rest of the game which made it go faster. Anyways my wife gets pocket As a little later when the tables merged. She played them perfectly and got payed off big time. The best thing is half the table thought she had no clue how to play. She got pocket As again a little later and played them differently, with the same results, taking the majority of another players money. She ended up placing 2nd, she lost to mister I will not fold ever!!! He never does, I play with him regularly. I wanted her to figure this out on her own. Which she did and she continued to analyze her play at least an hour after we got home and I fell asleep. I may have created a monster. She wants me to setup her own online account. Oh well nothing major poker wise for me, played some online but very little due to the move. I am looking to use my TEC this week. Most likely will on Wednesday or Thursday. Then I can start the Limit Challenge. See if High on Poker and SteelerJosh want to start. Out
