Lost to an Ace.All-in on the turn with KA and 9 10 x A board. Called by JK. Lost to a queen.Betting strong on the turn after flopping trip kings (7 kicker only...playing from the big blind) after building the pot on the flop I get one caller. River is an 8. I'm reraised and call (well you would wouldn't you?) Higher kicker? No, a PP of 8s.QA suited I flop top pair to a rainbow flop. Bet the pot, one caller. Second club appears on the turn. I bet the pot again. Third club appears on the river. I check and call a moderate size bet. Opponent has A6 of clubs. Wasn't even a 6 on the board.10 Q, I flop two pair. Lost to a gut shot straight on the turn (though I should have been able to fold this one for less cost)I've also missed my last 13 (count 'em) cards at an open ended straight draw, every one of them played within or very close to pot odds, let alone implied odds. It's not all doom and gloom though. I have got lucky twice. (end sarcasm mode) Stop press: I just won a big hand! Yippee! 10 Ks with a 9 9 10 flop. Nobody had the 9. The gut shot draw missed. Had the other guy beat, probably before the king on the river but definitely after it.
