It giveth, and it taketh away

3/6 overall was profitable, but the 1/2 and 2/4 games still kill me. Worse yet, I think I was just on a good run of cards with 3/6. Heheh...
But yeah, now the bankroll has shrunk to about $1060, right where I was (approximately) before I took that crazy stab at 3/6.
I can't seem to conquer 1/2. I don't know why. It's infuriating, really. More frustrating than anything.
I cannot WAIT until I get a laptop after high school graduation (in about 2 months) so I can play on Empire and get rakeback and use programs like GameTime+, etc.
In the meantime, I guess I'm just going to play .5/1 and some $25NLHE while building up bonuses. This way, I can have a comfortable roll to play the 1/2 games on Empire when the time comes. By the time I get to Empire, I think my 1/2 game will be more solid. In addition,t he info you can get from Poker Tracker and GameTime+ is more real time and applicable on the tables.
For example, with PokerStars I'd have to open up PokerTracker, search for the player in question, then get stats on him. With Empire, Party and other skins, all you have to do is highlight the player and with GameTime+ the information pops up immediately.
The Stars bonus is complete, so I'm gonna take my $1050 roll and put $1000 into AbsolutePoker. They have a 35% up to $350 bonus deal, and I hear the bonus isn't too hard to clear. Once I clear that, hopefully, I'll have around ~$1400-$1500 in the roll by spring break.
Goal-wise, I'd like to have my poker bankroll be at around $2000 by the end of the school year. This way, I can start making some real money over the summer playing 2/4 and 3/6 with Rakeback on Empire where I can use GameTime+. Almost makes me drool.
The funny part is, I've made more playing online poker in the 3 or so months I've been at it than I did working for Best Buy for 3 months. Nothing to infer from that, just amusing.
And the parents want me to have a summer job. Makes sense, because it's guarantee wage, but I'm gonna laugh my ass off if I end up making more with poker this summer.
Until then, the bankroll is at $1060'ish.
On the year, I have made $1100 on my initial $100 investment. I love that sound.
