This audio thing is real new to me and I going to love trying it out. I guess I am suppose to talk about myself heck I do that all the time. Ok I will try to get serious and say something that is important. Well I guess that ended that conversation since i probably don't do anything that important anymore except play Poker. At my age and with my few health problem I am really not able to do anything else since I am a COPD person and have to use oxgen a lot. At one time loved to write but I was never real good at it but my problem now is finding the keys, oh I know where they are but hitting the right ones is my problem. Thank goodness for spell checks. To give me something to do I decided to start an informal web page about poker and so far I have really enjoy doing it. I have been getting some help and advice from others that has got us this far. I am inviting others to join as member so that can contribute their experiences and/or knownledge to my web page to make it more enjoyable I hope. I grew up on a farm and I can remember when neighbors and friends pitched in and help with the harvest and it has a real life saver. I server 9 years in the U.S.Marines and my up bringing on the farm help out there also. For several years after getting out of the service I was in Sales & Marketing as a supervisor and/or district manager for several large companies. One day I got feed up with corporate America and left these inappreciative companies where you were only a number. I purchase myself a small ranch in Arkansas at the ripe age of 47. It was hard work but I loved every minute (almost) until physically I was unable to attend and work my cattle. I left and move to Mesquite NV for the nice climate that was real good for my ailments. I love to gamble and they had two casino here and that was right down my alley. Being a rancher I was already used to being a gambler. Lots of folk do not realize how big a gamble farming and ranching really is. From the time you plant a seed or have a calf born everyday after is depended upon many factors to numerous to mentions. As a child I saw lot of families lose everything from a hail storm and destroy a whole years crop and unable to make their payment to the bank. There many other things that nature can cause havoc with farm family incomes. So gamble is nothing new to me but I respect it and manage my money accordingly. Money management is probably is where many people have their problems with gambling. Poker is a game that requires you to think (although many online players don't) and this is good for us older folks like myself to keep our brain functioning. Poker attracts people from all kinds of backgrounds that can contribute to some nice social event at poker tables. Due to some abuse by a few some will say gambling is bad. I will say that there is always some abuse in almost every thing that people do. Now I sound like a preacher rather then as an International Professional Poker Players.
