It's funny, but in the business world the same thing exists. People just gliding through their day, just for fun. The problem is, by the time they reach retirement, they've stopped having fun and haven't made any money. Many people say, if you find a job you love, you'll have money in abundance. Bull. It is actually the other way around. If you set out to make money, not just a paycheck, but serious money, you'll find happiness. I see the doubt now, money doesn't bring happiness. I never said money will cause the happiness. If you find a job you make serious money at, chances are you are probably good at it too. And you probably enjoy your job much more than a job that you just get by. Strive to be a top performer first. That goal will lead you to a job you will truly love.
