Even though I have a lot of love for online play, I still have to always pay homage to the live games that help develop me into the player I am today. 1. Why do all dealers and players like to refer to each other as "papa", "mama", "young man or lady". But damn, what I want to say is, "This pot was only 50 bucks, your employer just buttraked me $4, I tipped you $2, and a third of it was my own equity. This is poker prostitution and your casino has me as their "John". .....Didn't mean to digress, was thinking about all the tip money I gave away last night.

2. I also enjoy the variations in saying "nice hand" which I will break down for live player illiterates. When someone says "Niiiice Hand", they are actually saying "Great F&*%ng Hand". This suggests that your hand was probably a thing of beauty: Flopping nut straight with multiway action. However if someone says "Nigh Hand", it is usually from the person you beat. They are actually saying "Great F*&*^ng suckout you piece of *&^%" You probably had that made gut shot or that mid wired pair that made the set on the river. Lastly we have the "Nite Hand" which is usually the "whatever, it was just top pair, nothing great, who cares, lets move to the next hand."
