Busy, Busy, Busy
You think with school over for the semester I would have more time. Well I do, but the more time is not allowing more poker. Our house is for sale and everyday I am cleaning, repairing or leaving so somebody can come see it. Not that I am complaining, we are moving from the cold winters of Detroit to sunny Tampa
Monday I played poker for about 1 hrbusted out of a tournament, but lasted longer than SteelerJosh!!! Which is always good for bragging rights. Ideally we would finish 1, 2 in every tournament we entered. We have yet to see a final table together. Tuesday? Not sure if I even played poker, Wednesday I think I played on Party WSOP steps. Still can not get past the second step. I blame the whole Step setup for that. I play tight early in the tournament to make it so I will not go out of the game with out winning the buy back into Step 1. Other people play more aggressive and I end up short stacked. I try to change this, but the allure of not paying for the Step again always sneaks in my head. Oh well, maybe this weekend I will switch it up. I will be playing on a different computer. In-laws in townI will move down to the basement computer to escape for a few hours. No TV to distract me down there. Yesterday I played a heads NLHE up on Poker Stars 5/.25. I only had 30 in my Poker Stars account and want to play in the Blogger Tournament on Sunday. So I needed to make a few dollarsI played pretty well, only really getting behind when he had a higher flush a couple times. I won fairly easily, I liked the Heads Up, even though it took longer that I expected because the blinds start so small. All my previous Heads Up play occurs at the end of tournaments, with the blinds forcing more action. Its funny, I should take better notes of my games, on Party SNG, when I get to Heads Up action, I think my winning percentage is extremely high. In fact, I am borderline over confident when I get Heads Up on Party. My wife can confirm thisshe has been around when I say Hold on honey, I just have to beat this guy heads up. And I usually doso maybe I need to play more heads up and see how I fair. I think at the 5/.25 level, its probably fairly easy to beat.
After talking with SteelerJosh, I decided I need to create some goals. Related to poker of course, but life goals arent a bad idea also.
Poker Goal Number One Use Poker Tracker to analyze my playI bought the Poker Tracker Guide, still have not bought the full version of poker tracker. How dumb am I?

Random thoughts
Yesterday was the first time I have seen Jeff Probst from Survivor tell a contestant they stinkwhich to me means this guy had to smell unholycause they all have to smell bad. But to smell bad enough for the host to say somethingThe only unholy smell I have personally witnessed was back in college, my roommate spilled milk on the carpet, cleaned it up with a rag and then proceeded to throw the rag behind our mini-fridge. You know where the coils that get warm areso think of spoiled milk smell being cooked!!! Yummyso we took the rag once we found it and just threw it in the stairwell. Typical college guys.
Selling your house sucks, I feel I can not live in my house, for fear of breaking something or making a mess.
Socom 2, which I havent played in a month or so, is still the best game. That is until Socom 3 comes out. What better way to blow off stress than to kill someone online, then dance on their corpse.

Why when you decide to move, the place you are moving to keeps making bad headlines? Every missing child story on the news seems to be from Florida and none of them end up with a good ending. I am strong supporter of castration for sexual offenders, it seems none of them can be rehabilitated especially with the state of our prison system. Actually throw away the key on these people, castration may not even help, because it is a power, mind thing anyways. My wife actually worked at youth home and had a 16 yr kid in there for sexually molesting someone. He told her, he could not ever change, and he would do it again once he got released. With all the stuff occurring in Florida, it seems to support that notion. Sorry just had to rant about this

For some strange reason, I have been watching soccer on TV? Not enough to know the teams or the players, but to me a game were only one goal might be scored, seems to hold my interest. The big field and the wide angles, allow you to see the plays develop a little better than hockey. It is probably just a phase
