Reflections on the tourney score, and shots at 3/6

Okay, the buy-in was $22 (20+2) and I finished second out of around 120 or so.
I was down to 200 or so in chips when the blinds were 25/50, but I decided I was gonna focus hard on this one and I managed to get back into good chip position.
When the blinds were 200/400 I doubled up through the chip leader when I had the nut straight on the flop and we got all in on the turn. He had two pair + nut flush draw. I win, now I'm 3rd in chips.
I carry that momentum through to the final table, and I use smart play to get it heads-up, where I lose, unfortunately. I was one card from winning, but my opponent made a full house. I overplayed top pair the very next hand (prob from steaming), and I lose. But $500 is still awesome.
So having just over 1k in the account led me to play some 1/2. I've got 500BB at the level, so now I'm safe to play it. And wouldn't you know it, I pulled some winning sessions! It's weird, now that I don't play scared, I actually make more.
So, being the smart kid I am (I joke, I joke), I took $60 and put it onto a 3/6 table. For fun.
I leave the session up $9 after about an hour, but this gives me some confidence. I can beat this game, I think.
Tonight I join another 3/6 session and leave up about 60 bucks (10BB's) afer a short while.
These results are short term, but it's good to know I'm not getting killed. I know I play better against thinking opponents, because my hand-reading skills are more applicable against 3/6 players than idiots at the .5/1 level.
So, from here I'll mix up the 1/2, the 2/4, and maybe some shots at 3/6 while I build my roll.
Bankroll is currently $1,125.
