Satellite Fever

I'm convinced that 90% of the people on PS are retarded. I've been playing in satellites trying to get into the 6handed PL Holdem WCOOP event. I like shorthanded, so I figure this would be a good tourney for me to play. The satellites so far have been irritating beyond belief. Here's how I busted out of the last one. PokerStars Game #2485623412: Tournament #12065006, Hold'em Pot Limit - Level IV (50/100) - 2005/09/03 - 01:24:55 (ET)Table '12065006 2' Seat #6 is the buttonSeat 1: port48 (2010 in chips)Seat 2: Dragonystic (2080 in chips)Seat 4: ActionJeff (3085 in chips)Seat 5: oshan2 (1025 in chips)Seat 6: dlwfmyk (800 in chips)port48: posts small blind 50Dragonystic: posts big blind 100*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to Dragonystic [Qs Qd]ActionJeff: raises 200 to 300oshan2: foldsdlwfmyk: foldsport48: foldsDragonystic: raises 650 to 950ActionJeff: raises 1950 to 2900Dragonystic: calls 1130 and is all-in*** FLOP *** [2h Js 9c]*** TURN *** [2h Js 9c] [8d]*** RIVER *** [2h Js 9c 8d] [Kh]*** SHOW DOWN *** Dragonystic: shows [Qs Qd] (a pair of Queens)ActionJeff: shows [Kd Qh] (a pair of Kings) ActionJeff collected 4210 from pot*** SUMMARY ***Total pot 4210 Rake 0Board [2h Js 9c 8d Kh]Seat 1: port48 (small blind) folded before FlopSeat 2: Dragonystic (big blind) showed [Qs Qd] and lost with a pair of QueensSeat 4: ActionJeff showed [Kd Qh] and won (4210) with a pair of KingsSeat 5: oshan2 folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 6: dlwfmyk (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet) That's right folks. He moves in on me when I'm clearly pot committed, with KQo!! He's not shortstacked, and the blinds aren't huge. There's no reason to gamble here...aside from being so shitty at the game of poker as to necessitate gambling in order to ever win. There's no folding equity here, he's basically calling off 2/3's of his stack here with that shit hand. To top it off...some smart ass at the table says something like "best hand won...no fault there." I question him as to whether KQ is better than QQ. He responds "on that board it is." Well no fucking shit! If that's your definition of having a better hand, then the best hand ALWAYS wins, by tautology. You might as well point out that air is lighter than uranium, and 1+1 = 2, you fucking prick. He then goes on to tell me that I should "mix up" my game and "not always play face cards." I guess that's my mistake for playing the better hand. What's equally annoying is this is pretty much the exact same way as I busted out of the other satellite that I lost. For some ungodly reason someone decided to call me with A9o all in preflop. I had QQ but the river was an A. Oh well, I'm POSITIVE that I will win a seat into this event if I play a few more satellites. The players are so bad I often find myself feeling bad for them. (Which isn't a good mentality to have when you're trying to take someones money.) I wonder how many seasoned pro's have managed to remain warm hearted through the years.
