Woke up at 3:00 am to drive to Foxwoods, made it in record time was on my sidekick with my brother who blew 40,000 chips in 10 hands in a party poker WSOP satelite. Top 10 got seats he finished 18th. Registered early for 500 NL event . Record crowd over 950 entries. I played well and starting with 1500 chips got up to 4500 chips by round 3 ( 50 minute rounds). I lost a huge pot with pocket queens when guy spiked a 10 on the river for a gut shot straight. I played really tight and made it late into the day. With 130 players left I doubled to 18,000 chips with j9 when j9 flopped and I called an all in when a guy had AJ. The tournament was paying 90 spots and with 99 players left my bad play started. I played solid for 9 hours when the following handcame up. Blinds 300-600. I look down and see 24 hearts on big blind. Everyone folds to small blind who simply calls. I let the flop go and it is 463. Guy checks i bet 1000. he raises 4000 moreI call. Next card is a 7. He goes all in , I fold. He hit straight I lose 5000 just like that. Next hand in small blind I see ace 3 off suit , everyone folds to me. I bet 2100 guy raises 2000. I call Flop is 3 6 7. He checks I bet out 2500 he rerasies I fold. I blow almost all my chips in 2 hands before we go to dinner break. I come back from dinner and there are 94 players left. I have around 4500 chips, with blinds 400-800. I get ace 7 hearts and go all in. One player calls with 10 J , I get flush on river to go to 11000 chips. Next hand qk suited. For some strange reason with 1 limper I go all in. Big guy calls turns over AA and I go out n 92. Yes 2 away from money. Playing great all day and blow all my chips in 4 hands. Time to settle down and get ready for 1000 NL event on Monday.
