I guess the real question that remains is will my lack of a bankroll be able to sustain the fluctuations and the varience that is the life of a poker player. In the long run, I am positive I can be a winner, but I need some room to breathe in the short run. My live bankroll is still healthy, however my online bankroll is now suffering.
In the online tournament, I lost with AA against an A6o and 66. They both catch the 4 card straight with the 6 and I get to sit out. In the live tournament, I just wasn't feeling it and didn't see 1 hand that was playble at all until I was basically shortstacked. I think in the future I need to hunker down and play through it and not just throw away my tournament chances because I am bored.
In lighter news, a dealer at the place I play uptown chopped for 2nd place out of about 1,000 entrants at a Foxwoods $500 buy in event for a cash prize of ~$58,000. If he can do it, I'm sure I can.
Until next time Poker!
