WCOOP Begins

Not for me though, I'm just watching the event. Many big name players are in attendance, Phil Hellmuth (#1 Lucky One), David Williams (Rug Doctor) and Michael Mizrachi (The Grinder.) Not to mention Moneymaker and Raymer.
I feel bad for the big name pros a lot of the time. The railbirds are merciless, and for some reason, Hellmuth chats with them and gets into arguments and pissing matches. Mizrachi is doing a good job of not really talking to people too much, beyond what is normal for poker table chat...and he's doing well in the tournament too.
I almost want to do a Pauly-esque review of the tournament as it plays on, but anyone with a computer can just open up Stars and see for themselves...so that seems semi-pointless. But it's a lot of fun to watch, that's for sure. First place in this opening event is over 300k!
I can't wait to watch the final table, I think some really big names will make it.

I played in a few more satellites but have come up short. Last sat I played I got down to the final 4 and was close to the chip lead...but overplayed an AJ and ran into AK. Kinda frustrating, but that's ok.
I also played a Turbo SNG just for the hell of it and that is where that hammer pic came from. I also won with King Crab on another hand. I was gambling and I think made a few people mad because I ended up winning it.

I didn't know this was a holiday weekend. I was wondering why everything was so slow. Nobody came to play poker except Ryan...so we ended up playing a heads up match for $10 which I took down. But it was disappointing that I didn't get to play anymore live poker aside from that.
Now that the Tuesday night game is gone, I crave live games more. Playing online poker all the time can get boring.

Well anyways, I'm gonna go back to watching the WCOOP. After 6 hours there are still over 180 people left, which is pretty crazy, but it's fun to watch 4 tables at once. GL to everyone.
