Played in 8-16 ring game at Parker's Casino in north Seattle. This particular game was pretty weak sauce. 4 loose passive players with two wimpy rocks and one LAG. LAG has been stealing my blinds for a few rounds. Everywhere now and then I would play back at the guy by three betting preflop and betting out flop with any two cards. LAG would usually muck. This time, I'm sitting with 9d3d in big blind. Everyone mucks. Turn is to LAG who is second to button and raises. All muck. I decide to call because I want to take the pot away with strong play if it flops okay. FLOP 10 8 3 clubs. I got bottom pair. I check. LAG looks at his cards again and bets. I put him on weak cards- Ace or King rag w/one club. LAG bets. I call.I felt I was best. TURN 8 spades. I check. He bets. I call again. RIVER 10 spades. I check. He checks. He then proclaims you beat me. He shows his wired 7's. I won with 9 high!!! hahah. I counterfeited him with two pair on the board. He thought I had the Ace club draw. On the other hand, I thought he counterfeited me with his high card. Go figure. In retrospect. We both played the hand like little wimps. If I played how I usually do, would have checkraised the turn and bet out on the river. There was no way he could call with 7 high putting me on trip 8's or a pair of 10's. Even when I bet out on the River after the Turn checkraise, he would fold if he put me on a high card. If he bet the river he would have one the pot, because if I stuck with my read putting him on a high card and muck. Good night. $356 in the 8-16 and approx $600 playing 10-20 on pokerstars.
