Hey folks! Howdy, I'm Kowboy and I play cards. I will be posting some of my poker exploits as I build my bank roll from $100.00 to $1000.00. Once this is done I plan on making $1K a month playing on-line. Right now I mainly play at Party Poker but am thinking about opening an account at Bodog.com as the word is many fish swin there. Here is what happen this weekend at Part Poker Well, I played in a 1400+ MTT at Party Poker Saturday night. The MTT started at 1:45am Kowboy time. I built a good chip stack and was chip leader for a while. As I got past the bubble I stopped getting good cards. I watched my stack dwindle as the blinds went up. When it got down to the final 30 I was short stacked with about 16000 in chips. Blinds were 4000/8000. I went all in UTG with AK and got to callers. I felt good about it because the pot was around 60,000. The callers had AJ and AQ. Big slick didnt hold up with a Q coming on the flop. I busted out in 23rd. Not bad but missed making any real money. I played some SnGs and made a little money from them. Party Pokers $10 SnGs were down Sunday night so I played in a $5 three-table tourney. I was 4th in chips when I make a bone head play pushing all in with pocket 8s UTG. The button called with pocket Qs and I went out in 6th just missing the money.
