This has been the worst 2 weeks of my poker experience. It started right before austen came to visit. Combine poor cards and bad beats with stupid calls and reraises and you get 2 weeks from hell. I deposited 200 in my party poker account on Thursday and its now down to under $50. I think I need to loosen up my game a bit. A theory I have is that I may be playing too tight and that my gameplay is suffering because of it. In party tournaments I will go 3 rounds without playing a hand and I start to go on tilt and then start making bad plays. I will get through this. UPDATE as I am writing this I just made quad jacks in a party tournament... won a decent amount of chips so that is a booster... may the cards continue MORE same tournament 2 hands later QQ 2 callers 3 club flop king high flop I have q of clubs better bets 195 thinking... probably beaten only 195 in the pot folded... I want to be in a better position its things like this that bring me down MORE same touranment I get QQ again raise 4x BB get 3 callers flop 776 FP bets BB I reraise to 300 he goes all-in I call thinking I'm 'pot committed' (i hate that term) of course he has a 7 (4 7 to be exact) I should have just called his 15 bet then I could have thrown it away on the turn I knew something was up next hand QTs raise to 60 only blinds are left they both call flop 889 two of my suit checks around turn J giving me straight I have a little over 200 chips left EP bets BB I reraise all in (I'm sure he has the 8) he calls with K8 9 comes on river and I lose down to 45 chips now all-in with TT just hit a set on the turn wow this is ridiculous 2 others were in the hand one had AA the other KK river came an A lost to a bigger set UNBELIEVABLE
